New Year's Eve is the one party of the year everyone arrives at with the same expectation: that it will be the most beautiful night. Whether you are hosting a private party or an event at a restaurant or hotel in Bucharest, the music decides whether the night becomes a memory.
At K&S Band, every New Year's Eve concept is created by Kristina Cirjan, the band's founder, a vocalist with more than 10 years of stage experience and over 600 private events performed in Romania and across Europe.

Why live music on New Year's Eve?
A DJ plays songs. A band creates moments. Live music has something no playlist can reproduce: real interaction with the audience. At midnight, when the whole room counts down the last seconds of the year, the difference between a song played from a laptop and a band performing live on stage is felt instantly.
What New Year's Eve looks like with K&S Band
Welcoming the guests: Lounge Music
The evening begins elegantly. As guests arrive and enjoy their first cocktail, we set the atmosphere with saxophone or classical guitar. The music is present but discreet, giving guests the chance to talk and settle into the mood of the night.
The first dance set: International Hits
After the first course, we raise the energy. Our international pop program covers it all: dance, funk, disco, hits from the '80s to today, reggaeton and Latin. Our band, made up of 2 vocalists and 5 instrumentalists, fills the dance floor.
Midnight: starting 2027 on the dance floor
The countdown, the champagne, the fireworks and the first song of the new year: we prepare this special moment with the whole band, singing and dancing together so 2027 begins with fun and good energy.
After midnight: partying until morning
This is when the New Year's Eve party reaches its peak. We can continue the night with our "Balkan Party," a program of Greek, Macedonian, Serbian and Romanian party music performed by the band.
For the last part of the night, we also recommend our saxophone or percussion show with club music, especially suited to a younger crowd or guests who prefer modern, international music.
We also offer Romanian folklore programs, with a folklore vocalist and instrumentalists, for those who want to welcome 2027 with a traditional „hora”.
And to close the night, we have a special „manele” set: a trip back in time through the hits of the 2000s, the songs everyone knows by heart and sings along to with a smile. We perform them live, in our own arrangements, with good taste. If you've ever wondered what "Șaraiman" sounds like arranged for electric guitar, saxophone, bass and drums, a New Year's Eve party is your chance to find out. This is the afterparty moment, when the whole room sings in unison, and the last guests on the dance floor are usually the happiest.

Tips for a successful party
What to ask before booking a New Year's Eve band
How many hours does the band play, and how are the breaks organized? New Year's Eve is a long night, so the program needs to be planned for its entire length.
Who handles sound and lighting? Agree clearly on what the band provides and what the venue provides.
Can the repertoire be adapted? Do you have international guests? Would you like a folklore program too? Let the band know in advance.
How does the band handle the midnight moment? It is the most important moment of the night and deserves to be planned.
Book early: December 31st is the most requested date of the year
All the good bands are in demand on the same night. In our experience, most New Year's Eve bookings are made in autumn, and by December the options become very limited.
